keroxen Lanzarote
Keroxen Festival expands its programme in 2026 with KRXN LZT, a new extension in Lanzarote that continues the festival’s commitment to experimental music, electronic music, visual arts and other forms of contemporary creation. Founded in 2009 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Keroxen has established itself as a meeting point for artists, disciplines and audiences, with a programme open to experimentation and new creative languages.
The Lanzarote programme will take place between October and November, with four sessions at the Cueva de los Verdes. The series begins on 22 October with Los Sara Fontán and Pura Márquez, followed on 23 October by Waq Waq Kingdom and Kalma. The final two events will take place in November: Rob Mazurek on 6 November, and Lagoss and Simone Marin on 7 November, bringing the programme to a close.
Four events bringing together experimental music, electronic music and audiovisual creation, with projects from the Canary Islands and the national and international scenes, exploring different approaches to sound and image at the Cueva de los Verdes.
22 October
Los Sara Fontán + Pura Márquez
Los Sara Fontán arrive at the Cueva de los Verdes with a live performance in which violin, percussion and electronics are created on the spot, in constant dialogue and improvisation. The performance is complemented by the visual work of Pura Márquez, who accompanies the music with images created in real time. A Keroxen Lanzarote event where sound and image share the same space and evolve together throughout the performance.
23 October
Waq Waq Kingdom & Kalma
Waq Waq Kingdom bring to the Cueva de los Verdes a mix of electronic music, Japanese tradition and rhythms spanning dancehall, dub and techno. The duo formed by Kiki Hitomi and Shigeru Ishihara deliver an energetic live performance that connects the imagery of Japanese festivals with contemporary sounds. The experience is completed by Kalma’s generative visuals, created in real time and in dialogue with the music.
6 November
Rob Mazurek
Cornetist, composer and multidisciplinary artist Rob Mazurek arrives at Keroxen Lanzarote with a project that moves between avant-garde jazz, electronic music, improvisation and visual arts. A key figure on the international experimental scene, he has spent more than three decades developing a distinctive language in which sound and image constantly intersect.
7 November
Lagoss + Simone Marin
Lagoss present their distinctive Future Island Folklore, an electronic exploration of island mythology and identity through tropical sounds, local references and cybernetic elements. The performance is complemented by the audiovisual work of Simone Marin, who incorporates installations, projections and interactive visuals into the live show.
