Cultural atmosphere
Bar Picasso, popularly known as El Almacén Bar, opened its doors in the same year as the cultural centre itself. It quickly became a social gathering place, hosting long evenings of conversation and the exchange of ideas on culture, art and progress. Over time, it evolved into a key meeting point for both locals and visitors, who would gather over a glass of wine and simple tapas to discuss global issues and sketch out the first ideas for major artistic projects. A relaxed atmosphere, good company and inspiring conversations have always been the essence of what has become much more than just a bar.
Today, Bar Picasso offers a welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Arrecife. Its artistic and bohemian character makes it the perfect place to enjoy a gastronomic break surrounded by creativity and local culture. On days when films are screened at the Sala Buñuel, it is also an ideal spot to enjoy a snack or drink before or after the movie.

El Almacén Cultural Innovation Centre is a distinctive hub of living culture located in the heart of Arrecife. This dynamic and multifunctional space is dedicated to celebrating and promoting art and culture in Lanzarote, offering visitors a unique and enriching experience.
In addition to Bar Picasso and the Sala Buñuel, El Almacén features several spaces devoted to different forms of art and culture:

What to do
Enjoy a renewed menu that reinterprets traditional Canarian recipes, accompanied by an extensive selection of local wines, beers and spirits, all served within generous opening hours designed for relaxed enjoyment.
- Starters: Perfect for sharing, including a selection of local cheeses and the traditional papas arrugadas served with mojo sauce.
- Main Courses: Dishes that showcase the flavours of Lanzarote through locally sourced ingredients. We recommend the Revuelto Conejero with salted cherne, caramelised onions and crispy potato strips.
- Picasso Menu: A delicious way to discover local flavours in a welcoming atmosphere. Highlights of Canarian cuisine include traditional sancocho canario, caldo de millo y trigo (corn and wheat soup), and grilled cherne fillet served with salad and papas arrugadas.

- Photography: El Almacén’s unique architecture and history-filled atmosphere make it the perfect backdrop for memorable photographs.
- Accessibility: Bar Picasso at El Almacén is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has been adapted to ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors.

Prepare your visit
At Montañas del Fuego and Cueva de los Verdes, tickets can only be purchased online and always for a specific date and time.
At the other centers, you can buy tickets directly at the ticket office, but we recommend purchasing them in advance to make access easier.
Yes. Canary Islands residents can benefit from a special price, as well as residents of Lanzarote and people with disabilities. Please note that these rates cannot be combined and are only available at the ticket offices upon presentation of the required physical documentation.
Some centres do not have a box office. We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance on the website to secure your access to the centre.
It is not necessary to print it, however, you must have the QR code downloaded and ready at the entrance to speed up access.
In some areas coverage is limited, download the ticket on your mobile or take a screenshot of the QR code before arriving.

Our customer service hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 15:00.
Yes, it is mandatory for Cueva de los Verdes and Montañas del Fuego. You must select the date and time when completing your online purchase.
You can also, if you are interested in discovering our spaces in a different and more exclusive way, the “Experiencias Insólitas” (our premium guided tours in small groups) require advance online booking with a fixed date and time. – They are offered at Montañas del Fuego and Jameos del Agua.-
For the rest of the Centres and general visits, it is not necessary to book a fixed time. You have full flexibility, although purchasing your ticket in advance helps reduce waiting times and supports a more balanced management of the space.
