Castillo de San José

Located in the port of Arrecife  and seat of the International Museum of Contemporary Art, Castillo de San Jose opens to you the doors of its restaurant, an elegant place to dine, with the stamp of Manrique and the best views of the bay. Enjoy suggestive dishes such as Manrique fish, Wreckfish and prawn delights, ”Almogrote” cheese and pepper paste croquettes and Roast octopus tentacles with peppers, to name but a few. There is also a wide selection of Guarantee of Origin Wines from Lanzarote, craft beers and spirits from the island to accompany this unique gastronomical experience.

Casa Museo del Campesino 

The chefs at the Country Lodge Museum Casa-Museo del Campesino are experts in original Canary Island cuisine and traditional island flavours. Come and visit this iconic museum and lodge, which stylishly combines tones of white and green with its volcano backdrop, and enjoy the very best “papas arrugadas” (Canary style boiled potatoes) or some delicious gofio (maize meal) balls. Relax on the terrace and have a refreshing Malvasía wine, and slowly become one with the surroundings.

Restaurante el Diablo

At the restaurant el Diablo, surrounded by the unusual landscape that the Timanfaya National Park presents and at over 600 degrees, we prepare suggestive meats on our ecological barbecue, dishes such as Volcano Hot Chicken or chorizo. A genuine culinary experience!

Table reservations are not accepted at the restaurant El Diablo, but you can visit the restaurant directly and inquire about an available table.. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Jardín de Cactus

The iconic Jardín  de Cactus (Cactus Garden) boasts nopal cactus as the star dish on its menu.  Surrounded by more than 4,500 cacti from all over the world and with unique views, you can enjoy our famous Cactus Hamburger, Maki, vegan Ropa Vieja chickpea stew, creamy croquettes, and tender baby nopal in olive oil, as well as many other delicious treats.

And for those who love Brunch, we have a special brunch menu. From 11.00 to 13:30 hours. (last reservation 13:30 h.) you can enjoy our brunch, with omelette, avocado and tomato toast snack; croissant, Canary Island rosquillas (doughnut rings), cured cheese, vegetable pie, yogurt, granola and prickly pear, orange juice, Malvasía and coffee.

Jameos del Agua Restaurant

A volcanic tube caused by the eruption of the Volcán de la Corona. Its gastronomic proposal is based on contemporary dishes with top quality local products. With dishes as suggestive as “conejera” omelette with onion and Cherne, accompanied by a vegetable garnish; fish such as grilled grouper fillet, accompanied by its mojos, salad bouquet and wrinkled potatoes. And for those who prefer a vegan proposal, we suggest a Rissoto with coconut milk.

Bar Picasso, El Almacén

The legendary bar Picasso, el Almacén has reopened its doors  and it remains true to its origins, strongly determined to keep on being the art, culture, film and food hub on the island.

The bar has a newly updated menu with traditional Canarian recipes and a wide selection of local wines, beer and spirits, opening for everyone to enjoy.
